Youth Issues

The Task Group on Youth Issues YMCA Bangalore & 'Stree Jagruti Samiti' an NGO which is actively involved with Women Empowerment jointly organised a Film review of a documentary movie based on the Women and Children Trafficking that is shockingly increasing in our Cities and towns, on Saturday, 19th April 2008 at 4.00 p.m. at City YMCA,. Ms. Brinda and Ms. Geetha Menon provided the inputs in the interactive group discussions that followed the movie "ANAMIKA"

A workshop on Careers in Journalism was successfully organized on 5th January 2009 by Ms. Shanthi and Ms. Ishita, Journalists.  A total of 120 Youth actively participated in the event. Inputs were brought from Institute of Journalism through Power Point presentation which benefited young people.

Training in Exam preparedness & Communication skills

This programme was held on   23rd and 28thMarch 2009   Prof. T.S. Rajamani brought the inputs that provided insights for the youth who were preparing for their respective examinations and usage of proper English while answering questions also was a part of the training session.  At least 50 students were benefited.

Mr. S.Gurubhakta is the Chairman and Mr. R. Prasannakumar is the related Secretary of the Task Group on Youth Issues.
